Alright, here's the deal...
If you have been reading the thread by alexanderm about him buying a kawi and so on and so forth and him being on the CBR forum you know that itis a very similar forum totheKF. I have been looking around there because I am picking up a CBR 600 F4. I am getting a great deal on it, so I just have to do it. However, this does not mean I am getting rid of the kawi, in fact, it's going to help me work on it because I will be able to go home and work on it more (since it will be my only vehicle). I still plan on riding the kawi once I am finished. The forum over there is not half of what it is here. It seems like a very stale atmosphere, so I am going to stay here and just post here. Here is a great example of why I am staying here:
2. There will be absolutely no post whoring anywhere in CBRF. [That's posting post without content, just a smiley or silly expression, or digging up old post just to boost your post count.] - Do not make a post entitled "Redline I need help" or "Hey so and so". If you need to speak with an individual PM them.

RE: Alright, here's the deal...
I used to ride Honda, I loved that bike, I was looking for an RR, but I found this one in perfect shape with 16,000 miles. The thing that sells me is the fact that the guy is like 30, married, kids, the whole deal. He is not in a hurry to get rid of it. He is buying a new house and he just wants a little extra cash. He has had like 5 lookers, but all of them have low-balled the hell out of it. I guess the last guy (who was like 18)offered to buy it at cost ($4,199) and then started to write out a personal check. He told him to get lost and then I called the next day. He is putting brand new Dunlop qualifiers on it for me, and it comes with and Akrapovic pipe on it and the stock pipe as well. He did a home done fender elim. that doesn't look too bad. I offered $4,000 with the new tires on it and he took it. I pick it up Thursday and I am riding it back. This bike is perfect...there are 2 chips on the tank and thats about it. I rode it and I fell in love with it, so that's that.

On top of all that, he changes the oil every 2,000 miles, changed it yesterday for me with the Honda factory oil. I would have done a lower offer if he was younger/the bike had anything that would make me wonder/think twice, but me and a buddy of mine both went over it and just....ahhhh...
