So I am getting my sons KX65 back together from a bottom/top end rebuild.

Truth be told, this was my first time inside a two-stroke!

Anyway, the bottom end it done and back together. I am getting ready to put the top end together and I find this pin stuck inside one of the zip lock bags that I had everything separated in. It is roughly 4mm in diameter and 16mm in length.

I do not see it on any of the exploded views of the bottom end, unless I am missing it.


Can anyone help a brother out?

not 100% sure I'm new to the KX65 world but I would say it holds the crank bearing from spinning. I have not cule but I would take it back apart.
