1995 Kx250 will not start
I have a 1995 kx250 that refuses to kick start without priming spark plug hole or bump starting. Here's where I am:
Brand new cdi and ignition coil (verified good spark with inline tester)
Cleaned carb can see daylight through every orifice.
Stock pilot @ 45 not sure about needle
Air screw 2 turns out per manual
Compression test yielded 150 (low maybe)
Runs like a scalded dog after started revs beautifully
Floats I think are set right always gas in bowl
Never over flows
New plug always wet when checked
Help!

I know on my CR480, I have to flood the carb for startup as well (big bore startup). Once started (literally one kick), I am stylin'

Sounds like a plan but I can't find a complete carb rebuild kit for a 95 kx250

The float valve is kinda spendy. But that is what I was referring to as a part in your carb rebuild. I also like to float test the float or see if it is getting fuel logged. Then do a complete carb cleaning/soaking. Reassemble, set the float height, etc. Do a shake down cruise and adjust as necessary.
