RE: how do you adjust the valve timing?
my concern is that the valve timing is off.
the measurement tool was removed from the cams before the sprockets where rotated. the cams where rotated with out any measurement of there position.
the degree wheel on hte crank was just screwed on and wire attatched to the case and some how this is suposed to magically make the timing cone to top dead center.
and now after travis says he want to so charge me th efull amount for not being able to finish his job. said not a cent more. then he wants $617 with is more than twice what it would have cost to actually do it.
still dont run. and ther ecclainming it takes monthse for parts. kawasaki dealersahip says 5 days.

if you wanna go back to absolute stock, theres going to be "t" and "f" markings on the trigger coil rotor, and "in" and "ex" markings on the cam sprockets. i can't recall if its the t or f that gets lined up with the notch inside the rotor housing.. i dont wanna lie to ya, i think its tha "t" tho. that should represent tdc on #1.
with that on spot, you can set your cams according to the markings on their sprockets. i'd definitely consult the manual for exactly the right markings... like i said, i'm a lil hazy on which markings represent what.. its been a while since i played with timing and cams.
