ZX-7r full rewire
Ok Guys this is my first post and I am new to the forum. I have a 97 zx7r and i am having problems. basically the shop i was at said that the main harness went bad and it will be about a 1000 to fix. now I am not spending that type of money on wiring , I am a certified 12volt technician. So i just ordered a service manual to be safe but my question is has anybody done this yet and any one have a tips adviece or even thoughts on the shop? love to here any discussion.

RE: ZX-7r full rewire
hey sorry guys i just forgot about tthis post. turns out the mechanic was a jerk and the wiring was fine it was a fuse all along i felt nervous at first because i had yet to work on a bike so i fig. let the proffesional do it. apparently there is some difference unbeknownst to me that just because your mainly a harley mechanic you dont know how to check fuses

a fuse, what a tool. If you had let them they would have changed your fuse, put in probably 1/2 of the wiring (the paret you can see)and hit you for 1000.00
