warm bike - 1st/2nd/3rd low RPM's = BAD!
My bike is new to me, and the last couple of times out when the bike is warm (1/4 to 1/2 on the temp guage) the bike severly bogs down until I hit about 5k RPM's in first, second, and third - then it takes off like a bat out of hell!
What is up here? If I work the throttle nice and easy its better, but the sluggishness is there. How do I get rid of it? When the bike is less than 1/4 on the temp guage all transitions smooth as butter.
Any ideas? When I try to give it throttle in these situations it seems like it's overwhelmed - but again backing off the throttle just makes the problem less pronounced - not go away.

First I'd check/have the carbs looked at. The plugged pilot circuitwould exibit those symptoms. Also, make sure that all the hoses under the tank are hooked upproperly and completely. The mass of hoses from the suction valve, airbox, carbs and vaccum lines can be confusing. Possibly the last person under the tank made a booboo..I've done it. Good luck

Were the carbs synched? That will cause a flat spot and then hit like a two stroke lets say.
