Love that clean, no decal look! Nice bike!

How are people getting their frames polished?? It doesn't even seem possible on my '98...??

EDIT:

found this link about polishing your frame: http://www.finishing.com/217/46.shtml

You find out all of the info that you needed? I read that article, I prefer to use scotch brite in the varing grits instead of sand paper. Attach to my die grinder and away ya go! Remember that the Maroon is 400 grit and will smooth welds and cause dimples in AL if not used correctly.

Thanks for all the compliments, It does need some work though, the highbeams dont work and its not the switch or the bulbs and it has a tail light intergrator that keeps f'in up so I need to know how delete it and figure out what wires are the rear signals

Looks sweet! The 7's are classics, even though they may weigh in on the porky side by today's measure. They are race-bred and very well sorted out. In the right hands, they can conquer many newer bikes. Get it into the best possible condition you can, and hang onto it. I think the older 7's and 9's have more character than the newer "razor blades," even though they may weigh a little more and use old school carbs. I'm sure many other posters will disagree, though. Ride what you like!Great choice!
