Congrats on the new pipe. What carb settings are working for you at the moment?

 

Stock Main Jet ,2 shims per needle and we adjusted the float bowls. Still can't tell how much if any help. Last Saturday our racing wa wack because we were getting 30-40mph crosswind over the track. They ending up making everyone race 1/8 mile for safety reasons.

 

Good idea on the float adjustments. 2 shims? dang what is the total mm reading on the two shims? With stock mains no less. The outdoor ambient, humidity and barometer? Good info that you have right there. Sucks about the cross winds and shortening the track though.

alright all you ZX7 guru's I got a question...how the heck do I get to my fuel screws? sroback I don't have the manual yet so I am gonna ask because I race on Sunday and I think I need to adjust my screws.

I installed the factory pro jet kit, put the muzzy on but I think my bike is still a little sluggish a local guy with a ZX7 said he adjusted his screws 2.5 turns...I know I never did this and I don't think the dealership I took it to did either so can ya'll help me please i want to get it tuned before I race.

I ran the stock needles and springs and shimmed the needles for sea level. I think that I was at approx. 2.25 turns on the a/f . I do not have my manual in front of me to confirm this.
