hahaha, sorry for being a little sarcastic in my reply. I have not heard that one before.
Your petcock pic for the 01 looks similar to a 90 model? Just a standard ****, fu/el split by the **** grip? Or is it a handle like a ball valve?

 

I took a picture of it but my internet at home wasnt working
I'm at work now and our computers are pretty restricted with security so I'll just have to describe it.

I just need to know where the indention is on the bike so I can tell what setting I'm at.

 

on= **** fully counterclockwise when looking at it from the clutch side, handle vertical

off= **** 90 degrees turned from either locked position, handle horizontal

reserve= **** fully clockwise, handle vertical

btw.. this is the second time i've stupidly run outside to look at my bike.. (without shoes on) theres a sheet of solid ice on everything, as was the time i went to look at the headlight adjuster.. and for the second time, i almost fell and busted be ***.

hahaha, wh, I went out in the snow last night for pics of my fuel petcock! My '90 petcock is the same as the awesome drawing ex made.
