okay so if anybody has read my other thread i have killed my engine....inpart because i was f***ing stupid the other part because the pc iii usb i had burnt out and i didn't notice it...

anyways...my engine is dead and i was wondering if i should just buy an aftermarket engine or should i just stick with oem???

i saw one for $1395 used but he didn't know the mileage....

i would like some recommendations of any site someone knows where i get one built....or if they sell good certified used engines...

my bike is 2006 model...

 

imo if i had the funds i would have a motor built one to meet my specs for my riding needs but just my opinion and if you do have on built please keep us updated

 

yes will do...i still have like the top end still works...pretty much they took all the parts i couldn't salvage and threw them away...

what i might do is by a new block shims pistons (forged not cast iron) and then just piece it together....

i still have part of the block and i believe the cam...

 

man, that sux to hear. could you just grab one off of ebay cheap just to get u back on the road and take a bit of time to have one built?
