RE: ZX6R....(comfortable for 50mi trek?)
Well I'm 35 and I have done a 10 hour day trip to the Dragon... I think we rode about 350 miles that day.. 50 miles shouldnt be that bad once you get use to the riding position.. I'm sure others here will give you some better info.. Hope that helps.. Safe riding.. Chris

50 isnt bad at all. 056r and myself go out for 3-8 hours at a time, pretty much every weekend. I dont think you will have a problem. Im 29 and he is 24. The fist few rides are gonna feel different from your 500, but after that you will be good to go.

I'm 32, and have no problems. A few friend, and I went out last weekend and put on 230 mi.. Then again I'm vertically challenged, so I'm not as leaned over as some of the guys, my buddy John is like 6', and he had no problems (read as: b*tching that he needed to stop).

50 miiles should not be that bad. Then again how long have you been out on your 500? If you have problems now then you could very well have problems later but it is all what you are used to and what you can handle. When I ride to work I put on like 60 Miles a day round trip andI have no problems and I am 31.

50 miles should be a piece of cake. At 39 I rode my 03 1000miles (in 17 hours)from Minnesota to Texas. The 05-06's are a lot more comfortable with less weight on your wrists. I am 5'11".

50 miles that is it. Hell that sounds like a tease. Week end rides should be at least 2 tanks full of gas. I have no prob but I am 6'1" an dmy arms are 2' long from front of shoulder to center of palm. Should be no prob. It might be a little sore the first couple of times bu you will be having to much fun to feel it.....
