My limited knowledge on 750s puts them at quite a big torque and HP advantage over our 636s... My understanding is that they are both in the 600 class. GSXR600 '03, and a 6r '05 (636). The 6r should be walking on the '03. Weight and rider ability not included.

Just remember that some bikes are freaks of machinery. They are just faster than others of the same make, model & year. There are racers who have a favorite car, bike or engine that they use as much as they can because it's faster or handles better than their spare or back-up machine. It's wierd! The same bike with the same enginespecs can have a 10 to 15 HP advantage.

It doesn't matter if its geared like a 750 if anything that would hurt it. The 750 has a higher gearing and puttin a higher gearing on a 600 should make it real slow of the line. I would think its would be a great deal slower being a 03 600 with higher gearing. And my 636 will walk on a 07 gxr600 stock for stock so you would think your 636 would beat that old gxr easy maybe its rider weight diff are something

Any stock 636 should be able to take a stock GSXR600 even with a pipeexcept for maybe the 07 model 600's in the top end speed. Off the line, the 636's are hard to beat by any 600. Rider skill being equal ofcourse. Usually the 750 gearing will be taller for more top speed but he 600 may not be able to pull that gearing to redline in 6th gear.

i have a friend of mine talking smack about how his bike is gonna eat mine. he is rolling on a 03 GSXR 600 with a D&D pipe. My bike is stock.for now. im waiting to put on a full racing exhaust before i put on my PCIII. and BMC air filter. Rider ability to the side does anybody think i can get him with my bike stock and his with a pipe

weight & experience means alot in raceing, but u should be able to beat any stock 600 out there considered u are a decent rider and no how launch the bike pretty good

If you two are close to the same weight you should take him. When my bike was stock, I was able to take my friends 05 GSXR 600 he had a yosh slip on and K&N filter. Also he has no PC so he might have been a tad bit slower with how is being is runing.
