sum mods are still in the box. i need new hardware for this bike. so far just stripped the wheels. haked the back fender. and my kawasaki forums sticker of course=10 extra hp right there...lol

Mine has 16,000 miles still runnin strong. Put 10,000 last summer alone.

Picked up my '04 636 like this, so there's more in the werkz, but I was lucky enough to start w/ Laser GP slip, Galfer steel front brake lines, Scotts damper, Heli clips and Corbin seat (great for longer rides), fender elim. w/ CA clear brake & int. turns, piaa 1100x headlights peeking through race fairings I installed when I got it, and I threw the PCIII in today. Which brings me to the map question.....any good ideas? I hear a lot about Jeffo's (I think?) custom maps, but I want to load a decent one now while I wait for custom, plus before I spend $$ on one I am going to get a BMC air filter and maybe swap the exhaust for VooDoo. Ideas? Thanks.

 

I have a 03 636 with full micron high mount exhaust, scotts stearing stabilizer, chrome wheels, chrome swingarm, polished foot pegs and frame, gold bar ends and footpegs, down 1 up 2, stretched 7 inches, need power cammander, but working progress and trying to get some info to squeeze a bigger motor in it anyone have any suggestions? would like zx 10 motor to fit. I also have a brand new 905 crash cage trying to get rid of anyone interested.

 

Bigger motor? Seems like a lot of expense. Why not sell her and get a ZX14 to customize? I get it...sentimental and all that. I guess you could see about fitting a ZX10 motor, or maybe you could look into a good ZX9, ZX7 or ZX12 motor. One of them might work. I'm sure there has been someone who has done it before. Another option would be going with NOS. Or a turbo kit. If I was looking to increase Hp on my 636, I would either go with a nitrous kit, (since it is relatively cheap compared to the other options) or look into a good compact supercharger kit. Good luck!
