The wife is going back to Indy on family reunion thing, so I have a week and a half to go where ever...I've got good rubber, fresh oil change, just resynched carbs, cleaned em, re tightned chain, etc etc...I am ready to roll!! About the farthest I have had on one wack in the saddle was around 700 miles...So maybe I'll try to beat that on this trip !! Now, if nothing gets in the way and screws up my plans....[:@]

 

let me know man, if i have a weeks knotice at least i can get some time off work or something and roll with you guys if you come by this way or pass through on the way to vegas.

 

That would be bad a$$..... from here to you, evil, is 992 miles !! whew...from you to vegas, is what, 270 miles? Then vegas back down to home is 780 miles...So I would have a round trip of 2100 miles ....wow.....I might just be able to swing that. I would need to take a couple of extra days off of work, but it might happen. This might be a plan. I have 2 days off now, not counting the weekend on June 19 and 20....I work half a day that previous Sat, so if I could get the rest of the week off, then I have a plan...I'll find out!!

 

from me to vegas is 400 miles. ride here, we eat you sleep, next day we ride to vegas. werd.

 

Hey, did any of you guys ever hear of the Cabot Trail? It's in Nova Scotia, Canada, and is apparently a very popular place for bikers to ride. Its very close to where I live, and i road it several times (its about a 5-6 hour ride). I think I saw it on a TV show once as one of the top 10 biker destinations in North America. Just checking if any of you guys from the US heard of it . . .

 

I've been hanging out at the extreme cyclez garage...since I don't have my bike yet I surround myself with them...he has a couple of 50's he lets me tear loose on...Richmond isn't too far from here...I've been asking around and they ride to some lake...Berryessa??? and they do track days at infinion and thunderhills??? I'm just waiting for my bike to arrive!!!
