Hello everyone,

I am interested in purchasing either a 05 ZX6R or a 06 model, but does anyone know when the 06's are coming out?

And are there going to be any differences between the 05 model and 06 models ?

I would like to purchase the bike before my next trackday in September.

I would say that because the 05 was such a new design that the 06 will not change a whole lot. Dealers are starting to get the 06 dirt now, but nothing on the streetbikes.

 

Well, I purchased an 05 ZX6R yesterday and today I put on 200 miles (mostly winding roads) . Yes, it is a pain to keep the rpm's under 4k. for breakin. Who ever heard of doing 50 mph on the California freeways? Sooo, in reality the bike has seen revs up to 7k. Oh yeah, I got pulled over on the way up to Alice's resturant today because I did not have a license plate or thats what the local CHP officer told me [:@]. Now what exhaust slipon to purchase?
