Default whats a good street/strip gearing for a 04 636

hey guy's whats a good street/strip gearing for a zx 6r, stock is 15-40, i am just lookin for what u guy's ran on the street and track thats worked best for you'll, bike is a 04 model with a pc111 custom map, yoshi high mount exhaust, k&n filter, geared -1 +2, thx

the guy who i bought the bike from said he went -1 +2 from stock, and the bike runs 75mph in 6th gear at 6500 rpm if that helps anybody, i no the bike has a 42t on the rear but not sure about the front tho, i just like to get some opions from some of the guy's here thats done did some gearing changes to the 03-04 models, thx

I rarely even see 6th gear. At 75 I'm usually in 4th. MAYYBE 5th. But not likely.

i just took the bike out for a ride earlier and i noticed that at 6800 rpm it's runnin 80mph and at 75 mph it's at 6500 rpm on the odermotor reading

I would check the front sproket that sounds a little off. Also you will need a speedo healer to get the true speed and RPM's.

what will be the best way to check to see what size the front sprocket is

U should be able to just pull off the sprocket cover.3 bolts I think. Right above the shifter.
