Vortex clip-ons for a 06
Has anybody installed these? Is their a new mounting location for the front brake resevior? And any suggestions for fabbing up a mount for weighted bar ends?
I'll post pics tomorrow.

Well I wanted to take it for a spin last night so I stuck a bolt through on of the shock mounts. Unless someone can tellme adifferent way to mount it, I'll probably leave it the way it is.

Are you getting a bad vibration in the bars now and you want to add weight to reduce it?
What used to be where the bolt is now? And why could you not have put it back to avoid using the bolt?

I went with the new Vortex ones because they give a 10 degree down angle instead of the stock 7. The whole weight issue was just a bonus, but yea just like I thought I'm getting a real bad viberation through the bars, more than the stock setup. I'm sure a heavy weight bar end will do it.
Where I have it the resevior now is right where it was befor. It's hard to tell from the pics but, in the second pic you can see the allen head bolts they came with, the head is counter sunk and they don't go all the way through the clip-on. Unlike the stock configuration were the bolt goes though the resevior mount they the clip-on.

Take that stock allen and find a longer one that will go all the way through and protrude out the other side when tight. Then find a nut that will fit on it and secure your bracket.
Just cosmetic though, so if your not bothered by it than keep the bolt and nut you have now.
It would bug me and would probably half kill deej lol

Yea I can;t see it unless your under the bars trying to look for it.
Any suggestions for bar end mounts, or trying to get rid of the bad fibration?
