So I'm at about 3k miles on my 06 636 and I've started to notice a single valve that starts tapping from time to time. It doesn't seem to be a violent tapping, but I fear it will slowly begin to bend a valve stem or something. Does anyone know if early service to check valve clearances would be covered under warrantee? Thanks.

 

The only way that would be covered under warranty is if something in the valve train was actually faulty. Most likely, your valves just need an adjustment. You have to pay for that.
