The rims would definitely look nice in silver. I have painted green alloys on my bike and was thinking about stripping them because they're chipping. Painted rims IMO area pretty poor choice for OEM equipt. Anyone ever sucessfully painted over chips?

Well I stripped the paint off. Now all I need to do is polish them up. Looks like a whole new bike. I am going to strip the frame too and repaint it a dark color..

I was spraying some pannels for a buddies escalade today, Really got me wanting to paint this bike.. I will start with the frame and see where I end up..These need a wetsand and then they should be good to go.. caddy paint is pretty expensive..lol..

Thanks everyone! I think I am going to strip and poilsh the upper section of the frame, then clear coat it. I am going to paint the lower section of the frame gunmetal with a little flake in it... Funny how a little beater bike is slowly becoming a giant project.. I told my wife I was just going to get it running and drive it. As soon as I got it running I started really peicing it together right... It's an illness..

Well I stripped the frame.. I need a buffing wheel or polishing ball to really get a shine out of it. Mother's polish by hand is doing well right now.. It is very time consuming, thank goodness it's raining out..
