Default Undertail after Exhuast install-gaps??

anyone do anything to cure the problem (gaps/open spaces) that are left after removing the stock exuast and removing the stock turnsignals on the newer Zx6r's?

I just installed the yosh rs-5 and i noticed some extra room under the tail... i don't mind it too much, but i may want to do something about it in the future

post pics if you got em'!

-R

(i will post when its daylight?)

You could put Two Brothers on instead. It covers up the space really nicely

If your talking about the big gap in the "trunk" space after removing the turn signal plastic...what I did was re-install the plastics and score them long the tail section, then remove and cut. You can leave them on and just cut, but I didn't want to make a mistake and have a chunk out of my tail missing too.

Rains,

I would like to see your picture of this "gap" because I will be ordering the RS5 at the end of the week and this might help my decision.

I like Remo's idea of cutting the stock turn signal plastics in order to "fill" the trunk gaps

it's not too bad, and the rs-5 is a great, yes great, sounding and looking pipe

i think i will try Remo's idea, and do just what he said, Remo, any pics?

(i can't post pics yet, no camera (only Rzr phone camera ) hopefully santa brings me one for x-mas

That is a fan-freakin'-tastic idea. i was thinking of making a fill piece from aluminum, but damn that is just too slick.
