k, I am not promoting any brand over the other, but personnally liked the dunlop and the the metzler brands. More time on the dunlops though. with good results on track or street.

Dunlops, Michelins, Bridgestones, Metzlers or Pirelli,s are all good depending on your riding. The first 2 are rated the best for street and trackdays with the Dunlops being cheaper. I still use the stock BT014's and am perfectly happy with them until they wear out. I have a set of Qualifiers on standby.

On the Qualifiers, a tad over 4000 street miles and am showing a center line flat spot (the 10r). (Maybe a bit heavy on the throttle a few times.) The tire is not bad to ride with.

Dragone, you need a Ninja 250 and you can make that tire last 15000 miles. lol. Yeah, the Liter bikes aren't good on tires. You're doing good with 4K, probably about average is 3K on the rear if you're aggressive with the RH.

I have only ridden on Dunlops, I know they are great in the twisties, get real low and so on...but now I have these skinny tires and I'm kinda fearing going down too low...

If you just love your bike and plan to keep it, get some 17 inch wheels or sell it and buy a ZX6R with the fat 17's already on it. You'll see an amazing difference in handling. The 16" wheel/ tires had a habit of tucking the fronts.

^ hmm +1
Does not look like Dunlop offers hardly anything in the 16" rim

That's what I saw when I was shopping, if you can find me a good tire that will fit my bike for the price, I will probably buy it. I don't want to buy them from any shops around here, they charge too much. I just need something that is going to get me on the road...if anything, I will mess with the rims later and just keep these as spares.

You are correct on the pirelli speed demon's, also found two dunlop, the 404 and the GT501 series. I have no clue on how any of these ride like.
