Default tyres...

I am going nuts trying to figure out what kind of tire to get! I have a 1991 ZX600r, and the tires are bald. I can't even ride it around the block without the fear of the backend swinging out on me. I have been shopping around, and the only one I could really find with decent reviews are the Pirelli Sport Demons. My tire sizes are 110/80-16 and 130-90-16...I also want to know if I can change the tire size a bit without affecting the performance or the speedometer. I can only find low speed rated tires too. Anyone that can give me specific tire sizes/brands to look for and the site that you got it from, that would be awesome. Thanks, Matt.

I would stick with stock tire size. I am a huge fan of pilot powers. Dont have a site.

I am thinking that a 180/50 rear and 120/70 or 60 will work on the zx6. I do not have wheel width info on that ride. I run the 180's on the '90 zx7 though.

He's got 16" wheel on his bike. Might be difficult to find the new Hi-Perf Q's or PP's tires for that size rims.

Yea, and the tires that I have on there now don't look like they corner very well. I like to get down into the curvies, and I don't exactly trust the tires that I am riding on now because they are so tall and skinny!

I was looking up the rim size and from what I gather it is 3.00" wide. I was looking in the book on the stock tire sizes and it says: Front - 110/80V16-V240 Dunlop K205F Rear - 130/90V16-V240 Dunlop K205F. link
