Like with everyone else, I feel the speedo is off....I hit roughly 175 or so today....the 05 636 is EXTREMELY smooth, especially if you set the suspension up right for your body type....really interested in seeing how fast I was truly going...maybe blow by a speed trap?!?!?! j/k

if you go get your bike dyno'd they can tell you exactly how fast your goin. they should let you do that.

Update. I hit 155 mph this weekend racing my friend. oh, that race was awesome too. from a first gear roll. My wheel came up though and freaked me out a bit (even though I have been practicing wheelies) but I let go of the throttle and lost by a wheel length... Damn it.

Hey LITTLE D,
as soon as you get the wheelie down have someone take a picture of you doing it and post it, so the rest of the family could be proud of you.....[sm=groupwave.gif] just be careful.....

Are the speedo's you guys refering to all LCD? I've got an older needle and cable style that runs off the front wheel, would that be off as well? I'd really ahte to be putting around town doing like 10-15 under the limit thinking Im going faster than I really am.

Yeah, I was going to take a picture. and I wanted to take a shot with me giving the finger for all those guys that are from my area, thinking I wouldn't be able to do a wheelie. I'm getting pretty good. I can only practice on the weekends, because my friend lets me borrow his bike to do the wheelies, my is lowered so it's a bit hard to get up. But I'm getting there, I just have to get it thru my head. Once, I get it down, I'm going to raise the bike again.

It's fun, I just do little ones in first gear. My friend said they are getting higher and I'm holding them a bit longer. I'm also practice doing them sitting down, not standing.
