hey guys. About my 159mph on my '04 636. I have a Yellow Box speedo calibrater. Blackrobotics.com About 110.00 after shipping. Very nice, I used a gps on a 100 mile trip to calculate my percentage off. Even with +3 teeth on the rear procket and the fact that the stock speedo is off I was only off by about 10.14% So my true top Speed on my '04 636 is 159mph ( give or take a fraction of a mph ) I would very much suggest that every one buy a Yellow Box Speedo Calibrater. The are about 1 inch by 1 inch by 2 inches. Very easy to set-up

 

that or next time you buy a rear tire move up a size in thickness ie 120/55 to a 120/60 or 65. thatll take some of slack out of it. but the little yellow box sounds good

I hit my top speed today on the way to work..

I dont excatly know how fast cause as we all know the speedo is far off at that speed. Plus with the sprocket changs...
but I hit the rev. limiter in 6th. my guess is that was around 165 [&:]

 

WOW!! I'm so happy. And impresed. Just to clariy fornany one not paying attention. I have a '04 636 +3 teeth on the rear sprocket, rear aluminum sprocket, fiberglass body kit, k & N filter, Velocity Stacks, Power Comander 3 USB with Accelerator pump enabled. I also have a Yellow Box spedo calibrater. So. They say that the '04 636 will show about 174 - 176mph stock, but we all know that the spedo on a stock bike is off. According to a Dyno run on an '04 636 that same stock bike will do 165.5mph. So, now with all the mods I've done to my bike I topped it out at 164mph. Same top speed but with more acceleration. unbeleivable. This is so awesome. Just a few more things to do before the bore out and port and polish. Any way, do you guys / girls have a speedo calibrater on your bikes? if so what are your top speeds? Or have you not topped them out yet?

yeah i hit 149 on my 05 zx 6r...and id say that is pretty acurate cause i brought it to the shop and had them put a speed healer to adjust the speed correctly

 

i don't know my 1/4 mile. haven't been to the strip. I'ld guess some where in the low 11's though.

 

I've been up to 170 ( so the speedo said ) on my old gixxer 750

Who ever "they" are is idiots... 165 tops
