todays ride on the new tires for the bike
As some as you may know i just put the Dunlop Sportmax Q2's on my bike the other day. Today i meet up with a couple of guys fro work and we all hit the streets from Jacksonville to St Augustine and back to Jacksonville. Over all a 4 hour trip some twistys and some strait road riding. I put a little over 230 miles on the bike today on the new tires.
At the begging of the ride my tires were still slick from the wax that was applied to the tires. Easy to spin if on the throttle hard from a stop. I did notice on the ride after the tires were heated up and scrubbed in after a will they handle really good on the bends and gave a good feed back on what the bike was doing on the roads.
I have to say i like these tires a little better than my Battlax's that came on the bike. I will post some pictures of the tires and bike after the ride once i down load them off my phone here later on. Over all a good trip with the guys today even though the wind was kicking here today around 30 mph alone the river and beach.

Congrats on the safe ride. As you are well aware of, new tires are greasy. Sometimes a few heat cycles are required. I would have to say that your choice over the OEM tires after some ride time will really wake up the ride. Before you know it, you will be adjusting your suspension to meet your riding demands with the new tires.
