Default Tires

I know it's been argued about before, but how about some input on tires.

I was really leaning towards Pilot Powers, but with gas the way it is I'm thinking about riding the bike to/from work a little more often. I take her out to the hills every couple of weekends.

I'm concerned with only wearing the center of the PP's and not getting enough out of the sides. Anyone else in the same situation and what tires are you using?

go for the conti - road attacks. they are reviewed as having the grip of the pp's but have a harder compound int he center for longer life -

thats what i just put on mine.

Go for the Michelin Pilot Road 2's. They have a harder compound in the center but soft on the sides. You should be able to get more mileage from those than a full sport tire.

A few of my friends run Road Attacks and love them. I've been running M3's for awhile. I'm on my third set on one bike and 2nd on the other. I'm getting about 6500 a set. I could get more from the front, but I always change in pairs.
