any of you ladies and gents catch the cyclegear Diablo tire sale yesterday? this is my first tire change. since i shredded the battleaxes i thought i would try these. my friend uses them on his gxr track bike and likes them a lot. i wasnt quite sure about the size. i got PIRELLI Diablo Supersport Tires Package PRE-ORDER 120/70-17 & 180/55-17. i believe the stocks are 120/65 and 180/55. i hope they are at least as good as the battleaxes. i was kind of surprised how well they stuck to the track.

that was the closest combo they were selling as a set. next set will be the PP CTs for sure. i just couldnt pass up this deal.

 

Yeah, that's a great deal. I bought a set last year with the same deal. The 120/70 will be fine for the front. Itmight slow the steeringa little due to the taller profile but none ofany tire manufacturers tire sizes are exactly the same. They may read the same but there are slight variations in size & profile.

 

I saw that they were selling those tires as well where i live. must have been a cyclegear thing all over the nation. I didn't pick up any of the tires but i did pick up some synthic oil and a new filter for my bike.
