I agree with ya there lemac! It does look kind of 'icky' in the tread.

 

i think if you put it in the treads it makes the tire look kinda dirty, like u got dirt and **** in the treads.... like it on the side tho

 

if u get the white....then u have a zebra tire

 

I have an '03 636, red with the gold accents on the calipers, discs etc. I bought the gold tread paint and just did the letters on the sidewall......personal opinion, it looks bad a$$. Not a fan of doing the treads themselves though. I will try and get some pics that I get post on here to show. My current ones r too big to upload.

 

I did my last set of tires white on the sidewalls, looked good, as far as the tread goes, i think it only looks cool if you have a swee tread design......

right now i have M1's and i think that would look wack

 

Here's a couple pics of my bike with the gold tire marker on the sidewalls. She's still slightly damaged from the lil mishap last summer but not too bad. At least it gives you an idea of what the tire marker could look like.
