Default tank protectors

we have been using a MAG KNIGHT magnetic tank protector with mixed results on another sport bike its hard to work with unless its 100 degrees out and even with care it is cracking again it however does a great job keeping the tank scratch free on a 636 what would you recommend thanks for any help the bike is black

There is a clear rubberized film available or the tankpads from several companies made by Pro-grip.

i roll with the pro grip tank pad. its ok, just keeping buttons and zippers from gouging the paint is all.
