and.... i have the rear pieces of plastic with the turn signals so your rear section could look just like mine use to, your going to have to remove the tail section anyway, might want to get er done while its torn apart.

I think for now just the plate will do for me. Flush side markers make me nervous that they (cars) may not notice I'm stopped to turn from the rear well enough.

Evil, I'll ask you this because it seems like you might, you ever have someone ride on the back? I noticed today that the muffler certainly makes that seat hot. It MUST be too hot for anyone to actually sit back there.

it keeps it warm, not hot to the point that they would be uncomfortable sitting there. i only took my wife for a quick ride to see if i could get her to like bikes and that was it. the seat could of been warm 1. because she has a big *** or 2. because the sun was hitting it as you were riding and the exhaust has a little bit of a affect on it too. the plastic tail section would melt way before the seat got to hot, plus under your seat you have the trunk area.

Hey xrider, just a quick note on rear turn signals, My wife who I trust more than anyone remarked to me that my clear alternatives integrated taillight is way more noticable than the stock turn signals. She said that she could see it at a further distance than stock.
