You probably won't need to remap with just a slip on. If it was a full exhaust you would need to but a slip on won't merit a re-map.

thats kinda what i thought but the add reads "fuel remapping recommended". i was just on the power commander site and it looks like you would gane some good mid range hp according to their dyno chart.

If you have the money then buy a PC, if not then don't worry about it, a slip on won't cause any problems.

Actually, he will notice a gain in mid rangetotop end power just from the freer flow but to get the most HP, he'll need a custom map. I had a Yosh TRS on mine and it had great power. I'll be putting on another one soon. Someone's supposed to bebuying my Carbon FMF.

Re: Repacking;
I just ordered some ceramic wool to repack my slip-on. I think it will last for the life of the pipe because it won't burn and is supposed to be a great sound barrier. I'll try to do a before & after sound/ decibel test.

hahaha, true speedracer on getting some power but not what the ride is capable of is what I was referring to. A slip on is normally what? 3hp?
