RE: Sprockets
Hey guys I know this is a bit of necromancing, but I have an 01 ZX-6R and I'm dropping the front down 1 to 14.
Now I was looking and the speedometer is driven off the front sprocket (magnetically) but changing the sprocket will throw my speedo off, is there any way to adjust it once I have the new gear in or am I just stuck with guessing some?
Oh and just to make sure, because I couldn't believe it that the speedo was driven off the sprocket I looked up the parts and it defiantly is driven off the output sprocket (I put the rear tire in the air and throttled up and sure enough it clocked the speed.)
