Can anyone help me. I have an 05 636 and looking to wheelie without sliping the clutch.I know i have to chang the sprockets, I plan on going -1 in the front but im not sure how many teeth to go up in the rear without loosing to much top end. will +2 do the job or do i need more?

Get the Stealth or Supersprox from www.Sprocketcenter.com. It's a Tri Metal Sprocket with Light alloy in the center and High strength Steel on the outside which will last longer than Aluminum. Plus they look awesome! Go to the groupbuy secton; there should lots of pics or search the threads.

Thank you speedracer, that trimetal sprocket looks really good and will match my bike well.I was going to buy an aluminum sprocket from vortex but the trimetal one will last longer without sacrifising to much weight. Every little bit counts!!!!!

I to am curious as to how it improves gas milage? I haven't installed my speedo healer yet so I am unsure of what my gas milage is since I did my -1/+2. Basically doing the sprocket change was like getting rid of a gear. For example in the stock setup I was doing approx 6k in sixth gear doing 65mph. Now I am doing 7k at 65mph in sixth gear.
You won't be dissapointed though junky636, it is a great mod and improves performance significantly.

I think it was mikeyntnc that told me that. I thought the same think; that the engine is workingfaster to go the same speed but I have read that the -1+2 puts thegearing at the perfect ratio for power & fuel economy. The aerodynamic drag coefficiency increases compoundinglythe faster you go and if the bike cannot pull the gearing, you're just dumping more fuel than is being used. That's where you start losing gas mileage efficiency.

RE: Sprocket
i'd really like to hear some before and after fuel economy for this mod because if it does help i'd like to know.
right now i'm more concerned with maximizing fuel economy than drag speed.
