The race kit removes the hoses and valves from the top and plugs all the lines. (You can just cut a length ofremoved hose and run it between the two valve plates.)Just leave the one that goes from the top of the crankcase to the air box.

Hey cool bro, I'll try and do that. Sounds like the ports arent to be completely plugged .. Do the reed valves under the valve plates get left in the motor ?, or do they get taken out ? and youre saying I tie the two plates together with a hose from previous removal, does this sync the two valves together and trick them into thinking the smog system is still on? hey thanks alot ! youre expertise is appreciated! 05 636 green clear alternatives blinkers,GPR,RACE TECH SUSP GOLD VALVES AND SPRINGS,YOSHI,PC111,SEAT COWL ,BMC,STAINLESS LINES,CRG LEVERS,PRE LOAD ADJUSTERS,DOUBLE BUBBLE PUIG,RK GOLD CHAIN,PIG SPOTTERS,VORTEX GAS CAP,ZX ENGRAVED LOGO BRAKE CAPS,OVER 150 TI BOLTS AND ALLENS..

Leave the reed valves in or get an 1/8" flat aluminum stock and make some block-off plates. You can alsoJB weld the reeds. I just tied the two together with a piece of the hose I took off. Remember to plug the vacuum lines on the TB. Man,sound like you have a nice bike with a lot of goodies on it.Get an alarm and post up some pics.
