RE: slipper clutch removal
Let me explain: The slipper clutch is for fast corner entries to prevent rear wheel lock-up under racing conditions. Doing a wheelie and shutting the throttle to prevent loopingdoes not and cannot provide enough back-torque for the clutch to even begin to slip so during wheelies it works as a normal Non-Slipper clutch.
I haven't heard of any other 07 ZX6R owners complain about doing wheelies or anything else with the clutches. It's the same type clutch as the 03-04 ZX6RR's and 05-06 ZX6RR & 636's. No problems doing wheelies with those bikes or even our 07 racebike. Lack of experience andrespect seem the most likely cause. Get new friends while you find the other 2 things! Practice your wheelies by bringing up the bike smoothly tobalance point instead of snapping it up out of control then blaming the slipper clutch. We're only trying to help you with FREE advice/ info! If you really want to replace your clutch with a Non-Slipper type, you will have to split your cases and install 03-04 636 clutch & tranny. Let me know, I'll trade yours for a Non-Slipper Super Duper Wheelieclutch fairly cheap. Wheelie lessonswill costquite a bit more.
