Default RE: Silly Oil Change Question

i have the exact same problem going on with my 03 636, i loosened the oil filter and a littleoozed out the bottom but not that muchand it stopped fairly quickly so i loosened it up some more and actually took the filter off while it was running and stillhad nothing coming out of the oil filter bolt hole. can it really have that much air in the system? it ran perfect when i put it away at the end of last season, and i changed the oil over winter but didn't run it after i just changed it and left it for the spring. any suggestions?

That is very strange. Are you sure you put oil in??? I usually fill the oil filteras much as possible with oilbefore installing it. Maybe the oil pump orthe pressureswitchis bad.
