Default RXP rocks...

I put in some RXP in my tank before I put the bike away for the winter and just wanted to saySpeedracerwas so right about this stuff (is anyone suprised?) This stuff def quieted down the engine "ticking" noise that the 636's have. Also it cleaned out thecarbon in the engine becauseone time whenI started it a nicebig black carbon cloud came outthe exhaust (noticedmuch better performancewhenI took it for aride that day also)

I would highly suggest everyone go buy some and use it. I believe I bought it at Advance Auto Parts. It's def worth the investment.

On a side note... winter sucks!!![sm=boosign.gif][sm=boosign.gif][sm=boosign.gif][sm=boosign.gif][sm=boosign.gif][sm=boosign.gif]

missing the bike...

Yeah, RXP is amazing stuff. Like a tune-up in a bottle. Maybe the ticking noise was an injector that was carboned up & sticking. I have taken 2 636 engines apart and am surprised to see the amount of carbon on top of the pistons. I think that when most people get an exhaust, they automatically assume the bike is running lean and richen it up with a PCIII. I'm not sure that is necessary. When we ran the 07 on the dyno with a full exhaust, the air fuel ratio was perfect. I expected the bike to be lean and when we richened it, we actually lost power. If you have a thick black soot build up on your tailpipe, it's most likely running richer than it needs to be. RXP will decarbonize the combustion chambers and clean the fuel injectors. Unless you have a custom yuned MAP, You may however want to experiment with different MAPsto lean the bike out a little and will most likely see a horsepower increase. Better gas mileage too. The tip of the tailpipe outletshould have a chocolate color deposit.

im useing some stuff called Nitro Power in my 04 zx6r, it's cleans the carbon off your valves and pistons inside the motor and raise your octane by 7-14 points, and will give u 25 extra hp, only use it with premium gas and its made by a company called pro blend and it's some good stuff to guys

seafoam is a really good engine internal cleaner... you can run some in the gas tank or you can stick a vacuum line into the bottle and suck it straight in while revving the engine enough to keep it from dieing. it'll blow a huge black cloud as it cleans out the engine, but it works really well. been using it on cars for years.

seafoam works great... I haven't used it on my bike but I've used it on my Jeep with 145K miles and it does wonders... I get a HUGE carbony white smoke cloud after I put it in the intake and let it sit there overnight... I origionaly was going to try to use seafoam on my bike but speed recomended RXP...

rxp sounds like its alchohal and acetone -

i got a beat up old ford escort that flunked the emissions test to pass with flying colors by running 3 bottles of gas tank anti-freeze (pure alchohal also known as dry-gas because it combines with any water in the gas tank) in 4 gallons of gas. it went from failing to passing in 15 seconds.

alchohal also has a base octane level of somewhere around 115+

I don't think there is any alcohol in RXP. It's too small of a bottle (Only 2.5 ounces) and that little bit of alcohol won't make a difference. It smells like a diesel based solvent and all I know is that it WORKS WONDERS for bad running vehicles. They also claim that it will make a vehicle pass the smog test but you have to run atleast a tank of gas with RXP in itthrough first to clean it out. I have an Auto Diagnostic business andthe RXPhas fixed a lot of cars for me and my customers.
