Default Rims

My bud has an 04' 636 and lusts after my 05' 636 rims. We found some 05 rims but not sure if they will fit his. Any one know whether or not the 05's will fit on his 04??? Thanks

the front will fit but you will either need to keep the 04 rotors or shim the calipers. however the rear will not fit you will need to do the rear swingarm swap

No problem...when you're at work for 12 hours a day and thinking about riding the whole time, one tends to spend a lot of time online shopping.

Odimus, he can install the rear 05 wheel on an 04 if he has a custom caliper bracket made or his modified for the space between the swingarm and caliper mount. There is a 3/4 inch gap difference between an 04 & 05 wheel axle dimensions.

JMO but at 100+ I would feel more comfortable on the correct rim.
