Hey Dragone, what about gearing? I heard -1, +2 is perfect for the track, what do u think?
Depends on the track, for a short technical track the -1 +2 can be great but for larger and faster tracks you may get left behind on the long straights. JMO

NS is right. The gearing totally depends on the track, the bike, your racing linesand your riding ability. The faster you go, the more exact on the optimum ratio you'll have to be.

tires are always up to you and how you feel on the tires. i personaly run bridgestone bt-002's soft front medium rear. its cold over here in the UK and i just had a race on sunday and i set my tire pressures up 31-29 but you have to do thiswhen the tire is cold. i also recomend tire warmers if you are going serious, you dont put in as many heat cycles on the tires which makes them less hard and you have hot sticky tires when you go out on track. i am racing in rookie 600 over here in the uk on a 2004 honda cbr600rr which is jack writes old bike hes moved onto mss discovery kawasaki this year. i ran metzler k1 front and k2 rear on my 636 andi liked them too it just depeneds on what you like. well thats about all for me right now.
