Default rev limiter q

just wondering if hitting the rev limiter every now and then is that bad for the bike, i like to do smokey burnouts and i kinda get a little out of hand and bounce off it a couple time.

I wouldn't do it all the time especially during burn-outs. Less resistance on the engine to over-rev. That is what it's designed for; to shut of ignition so the motor doesn't over-rev to destruction. You never want to rev your bike to redline in neutral because the motor will spin-up too fast; no resistance. You could throw a rod through the case and/ or bend valves if you did that. Past redline you lose power anyway because that's when the valves start to float as you can see on the Dyno run graphs.
