Default Removing Front Tire

Ok how do youguys take the front wheel and tire off. I have an 07 and it has two hex's that are like 23 mm. I can not find a wrench that size or a head of a bolt that size to make my own wrench.

did you try flipping a spark plug socket ? when you loosen the the pinch bolts, the axle should be free enough to spin out with a smaller but close size hex.

Cycle Gear for the correct tool but the sparkplug socket with the hex works just as well. You'll need a 3 inch extension to insert in the wrong side of the sparkplug socket. Just loosen the RH side (Axle bolt head side)fork pinch bolts and then remove the axle.

Perfect I can do that without buying something. I would have never thought of the spark plug socket! I will try that first thing tomorrow.

if you have it handy, take a pic of the reversed socket with the extension in it so when it comes up again, well have a pic. been meaning to do it but never got around to it.
