Default Removing Flames Stickers

I didn't find anything in a nother thread about this. I have the 06' Titanium zx6r LE. I'm Taking the red flames off the bike becuase there are 10 other people where I live that have the le zx6r and I want something different. I found that the fairing stickers were easy to take off.... The problem I ran into is the 2 stickers on the tank.... does anyone know if they are put on the bike after paint, and before the clear coat is sprayed or if they are painted on? I have already removed a little section from one of the stickers.... just wanted to get some info before I screw up my paint!! Thanks for any info.

Peel em off and use Goo Gone to remove the residue.

Use a Hair dryer to make the sticker come off easier.

I already have all the stickers off the rest of the bike sections... heat gun wroked great for those... Superninja thanks for the reasurence... I wasn't sure because the section I took off didn't look like they were cleared after the stickers were applied.... anyone know a good way to fix the paint after you remove the stickers?

Just put some more clear over top of it...becareful not to damage the paint getting them off or you'll end up repainting the whole tank. Which might be easier I dunno.

If you want the stickers off the tank my suggestion is to just have the tank done at a body shop... something small like that will only cost about 100 bucks for them the sand and repaint it... if you try to take the cleared stickers off your self your F up the paint and it'll look like ****...

YEAH. I THINKAPAINT JOBWOULD BE THE BEST IDEA. MY BUDDY OWNS A BODY SHOP AND I ASKED HIM ABOUT TAKING THE KAWI STICKER OFF MY TANK BUT HE SAID THE WHOLE TANK WOULD HAVE TO BE RECLEARED AT THE LEAST OR TOTALLY PAINTED IF THINGS DIDN'T GO AS PLANNED. YOU MAY TRY JUST TAKING THEM OFF BUT BE READY TO NEED IT REPAINTED.
GOOD LUCK LET ME KNOW THE OUT COME... THAT'S SOME HANDY INFO TO HAVE.
