Actually, those bolt lights wouldn't work for my set-up.(wires) Wonder if anyone makes battery powered ones that you can just turn on when you need to.

 

they will work...you just have to run the wire under the tail fairing, the down the back side of the frame and behind the swing arm...it will work

 

i didnt realize you need a light on the plate. arent the headlights of a pig bright enough?

you can hide much of it under the tail section then run it behind the frame and swing arm...if you have a black frame, just find black wires and use eletrical tape with a quick swoop around the swing arm, wont be able to notice it really unless you look. me personally im not too worried about how it looks, just as long as it works, you may be more picky than i am. I had mine for a while ziptied up behind the wheel to the rear foot pegs, and had the wire run down inside the tail section then pop out, didnt look professional, but that was about my only option.

 

Thanks jds636.....one other thing, how exactly do I wire this thing up? Never messed with any of the wiring at all. Does anybody have a diagram or something for this? Sorry so clueless....hehe. Thanks again.

 

Run the wires from your stock lic plate light connector. Cover/ route the wires through some black heat shrink and run it along the frame & swingarm like jds636 said. you can use some clear RTV as adhesive to secure the wires every few inches. Route it underneath the swingarm & behind the frame.
