Oh ya, and MAKE them next day air the parts. We gotta make Kawasaki pay a little extra money because they are still denying a problem even exisit which is BS

No no, I'm still unsure. I was just wanting more information on the throttle body problem some people are experiencing so that I could better judge the cause of the problem. I'm guessing my bike probably doesn't have a TB problem because it was one of the last itterations of the 06 636. I would imagine I got the best stuff (OEM) that the 636 will ever have since they aren't making it anymore. We'll see though. I noticed tonight that I had 2 more random occurances of power loss... one of which was at like 2500 RPM.

well i dont think it matters if you have the first 636 or the last 636 made, the throttle bodies are all the same on them, and the fix for the part was only recently started to be made from what i understand when i talked to kawasaki on the phone...

Well, after a cold start, it idles at around 1500 until warm, then bounces between 900 and 1000. Sometimes when I start it, it jumps to like 3000 for a sec, then back down. Also, I've been noticing it stalling a lot more often recently. About 50% of the time, if I'm cruising at say 70mph and hold in the clutch, it will stall. Sometimes it does it as low as 40mph. And occasionally, it will stall right after I start it cold. There's also no powerband when it's cold, but I think that's normal with almost all small cold engines.

why do you hold in the clutch at 70 mph?? let your bike warm up before you start it dude, treat it how you would like to be treated haha

o yea, i dont think that sounds normal wait for more responses, the idle and everything sounds fine, but that whole stalling out while youre riding sounds odd...only cause that has NEVER happened to my bike
