quick help on slip on q

okay i had an exhaust leek when i bought my bike and i tried fixing it like three four times and still there somone told me theres soposed to be somthing else there all i have is the slip on pipe going over the header pipe and the slip on pipe has like weird slits in it, is there somthing else soposed to be there and remember mines an 03 so it might very any help would be FREAKIN AWSOME.

yeah its some type of gasket. dont know the name for it or wats it made of but i know what your talk n bout if u go to kawasaki.com click on the parts thingy it lists it for my bike that may help ????????

o crap, yeah i didnt put that gasket back on the bike with the slip on.

My FMF didn't need one. It was a snug fit. Also, I don't think that most aftermarket Slip-ons use them. Only If it's loose or there's a gap (Clamp too loose) where it connects to the header pipe's, then you need one.

my micron used mine and fit perfect with it.
