question about weight affecting topspeed
well last year i weighed about 160 and all i had on was my leather jacket and a slipon and no pc 3 and i hit 170 mph. well today i tested my speed and i was wearing my full leather outfit with boots and gloves, and also i weigh 170 lbs now and have a pc 3 and i all i could get to was 167mph. do yall think thats b.c of the extra 10lbs of me and extra weight of the leather suit??my bike does feel a little sluggish but it runs real good. im used to the power of the bike after a year of riding it so maybe thats why it feels alittle slower also with the added weight. anyone experience the same results

RE: question about weight affecting topspeed
i don't think that ur weight will affect it...it depends on so many atrtributes that it is highly imprabable that it was caused by your weight...it could be that the air was thinner or thicker that day....the temperature was greater...the humdity, barametric pressure, etc. etc. etc. even the tire wear...it could be alot of things that caused 3mph less...

tire pressure, your tuck, road, the bike is a year older than it was before. Plus everything mentioned above. SO many variables to really be too concerned with 3MPH
