problem with clutch up wheelies

RE: problem with clutch up wheelies
The clutch could be slipping when it hits the power band. When you're on the wheelie, the clutch start to slip until it hits redline & drops. My racebike did that. It pulled hard until 8K rpm, then the clutch slipped after that. Also, did you loosen anything else while you made your exhaust changes. You could have loosened something; maybe the tilt sensor is loose or faulty.

RE: problem with clutch up wheelies
update on my FI problem/rpm/powerloss/lack of wheelie problem, mine wasnt fuel injection at all.. well sort of but it was the power commander. my buddy and i yanked it at his shop and booya, bike back to normal. so dynojet is sending me a new one and im going to custom map it on the dyno. bling bling
so now the bike redlines and the rev limiter kicks in but it doesnt kick the tach back to half power like it was. it stays up there like it should now. my wheelie power has returned.
