Default Pro Impact Frame Sliders

My friend recently gave me a pair of frame sliders that he said he wasnt going to use. In the clear box that gives no indication of brand name or what to do is: one peice of paper that says "Lockhart Phillips USA ProImpact Frame Sliders Instructions" but really gives no instructions at all, 2 bolts (one short one long), and 2 frame sliders (one short and one long with a peice of metal at the end). I'm hoping that these are the cut-required frame sliders since ive heard such bad things about the no cut required ones, but really have no way of knowing. if anyone has generic 05-06 zx6r frame sliders installation instructions that could lead me to figure out what i need to do to get these on that would be great, ill post a pic of the frame sliders once i can borrow my friends digital camera. any help would be great, ive searched google with no results =\

Edit: i went to the lockhart phillips site (which really sucks) then when to products, and kept clicking random ones that said "Lockhart Phillips" (ull see if u go there what i mean) until i came upon these:

"ProImpact Frame Sliders 2006
Now available in Chrome! ProImpact Frame Sliders are designed minimize damage to a bike’s frame, engine and bodywork in the event of a fall. They’re engineered from ultra-high-molecular polyethylene, which is lightweight yet strong, will not shatter upon impact or stick to pavement in a slide. Using precision-machined, press-fit, billet aluminum adapters (where applicable), and high-grade steel bolts, ProImpact sliders provide that extra measure of protection for your bike."

But i still dont know how or where to put them on the bike, and if i need to cut the fairing, but the "billet aluminum adapters (where applicable)" makes me think i dont have to, in which case im just going to buy vortex ones. I also thought i saw something about billet frame sliders being crappy when searching through the other frame sliders threads.

Overall i think chucking these and buying good ones seems like the best option.

I like the vortex as well, I would be rocking them but they do not make them for my bikes any more [&o]

http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/...-59-VR-24.html

just checking to make sure these are the ones i want to buy for an 06 ZX-6R before i buy them. i want the vortex sliders that require left side modification and these ones say "This frame slider kit will not require fairing modification" but i think they are talking about the 2003 model, the only other thing i can find are the sliders at www.vortexracing.com but they are just the bases and no pucks.
If you guys could point me in the direction of some axle sliders also that would be great.

The no cut sliders, uses a bracket that will bend when your bike falls causing more damage than not having them at all.... You want the ones you have to cut.... there was someone not long ago here that had unfortunately tested the no cuts out... I'll see if I can find that thread for ya about them.

here it is https://www.kawasakiforums.com/m_24986/tm.htm

If I remember right, www.chromewhore.com was getting deals on those. Go over there and shoot JT an email. He is a sponsor on our site, just tell him you are from KF and he will take care of ya.
