Default price and wheelies

Hey guys, I am new to the forum. Just wanted to ask a quick couple of questions. on the 05 6R, how are the power wheelies, Easy or do I need to clutch, both first and second gear? Also anyone know what the dealer invoice is on the 6R or what would be a good price. Thanks in advance, I am looking for a new ride since I totalled my 03 R1 on Blood Mountain in GA over the weekend.

As for the wheelies, i only have 650 miles on my bike so none for me yet. On my 04, you had to clutch it. some agressive shifting did bring the wheel up some, but nothing real high. The price for me was $8900-out the door. I paid cash, so im not sure how much that played into it. They go for $8500 msrp. Worth every penny!!!!!!

are you wanting to do wheelies or asking if the bike power wheelies in first and second?

If your looking for the later, this bike is very light in the front and it will wheelie around 10k in first and second. I've been bringing the revs up lately to get used to the bike and it will pick the front up when you get on it.

My bike will bring up the front end in first gear like nothing at around 9k rpm and at around 10k rpm if your not laying on the tank it will come up in second gear as well. I'm sure if you are trying (which I am not) you could do some pretty good wheelies on it without having to use the clutch... This bike is a very fast machine for a 600! Well 636 but its still a 600 to me.

i brought my front end up on first gear no problem. i was amazed on how eazy it was to do on the bike. i was hitting about 9 or 10 on the tach. and i programed the shift light to come on at 12. so thats some great power. 636 rules.

at what speed are you going a 9k or 10k rpm. Also what is the top out speed for each gear. A local dealer offer to sell one for 7900 plus t,t,l. Is that pretty good or should I try and haggle him down a little more.

7900 isn't bad.... A friend of mine that owns his own shop sold me one 8400, which includes taxes, fees, etc...
