power commander question

Ya or if you got a lap top you can take it out to the bike from there. Did they give you the usb cord for the PCIII? Plus a 9volt battery and the plug for that as well I think I can't remember. I know it is a 9volt battery. Can not remember about how it connects.

There's a 9v battery adapter that plugs into the top of it so that you can give power to the PCIII without having the bike on. I'll post a picture when i get home and can take a pic of mine. you can usually pick them up for pretty cheap. on some sites. looks like this.

The cable is a pretty standard USB cable. I believe it's called a USB A to USB Mini Cable. Cameras, cell phones, and the like use them.

Because with out the 9volt battery and adapter you can not pull the PCIII out of the bike to install the map. You would have to leave it in the bike. Best set is to have a lap top and the USB cable. Good luck bro Hope it works for you.

ok so I might just take the power commander off completely.. this would put it back to ORIGINAL stock form right? because thats what they say on powercommander.com... If that doesnt fix it I might have to take it too a dealer to get some suggestions, maybe a new clutch or maybe a problem with a worn down fork or star in my shift mechanisms? I'm not totally sure about anything but I can take it to a dealer and find out whats wrong and do it myself
